About The Play
Would Be a Shame if the Plants Died (or Rearranging the Furniture) is a drama that offers a microscopic look inside the breakdown of a romantic relationship. Martinić explores the dynamics between attraction and rejection, revealing the profound emotions they arouse: pain, loneliness, love that reignites despite everything, set in a foreign land.
Martinić constructs a genuine, recognizable world far removed from our digital addictions and information overload. It's a world where honesty and openness are painfully frank; devoid of technology. Director Guillermo Cacace ensures a subtle staging that supports the themes and emotions, aiming to depict exceptional intimacy, immersing the viewer in a profound experience, including the discomfort of witnessing such private scenes.

Ik voelde echt het verhaal van het toneelstuk in mij, het is eerlijk, intiem, emotioneel en makkelijk om een connectie mee te maken.
